Most of our wines are best buy picks from either Wine Enthusiast or Wine Spectator Magazines from countries including, but not limited to Argentina, Australia, Chile, Spain, Italy, Germany and New Zealand.  Plus, of course we carry domestic wines from California, Oregon, and Washington.

We feature a great selection of Wisconsin wines from Door County Peninsula Winery, Wollersheim, Von Stehl, Three Lakes, Simon Creek, Cedar Creek and Orchard County. Plus White Winter Winery Mead from Iron River, Wisconsin.

What is Mead?
Mead is an alcoholic drink made from honey, water, and yeast.  Mead-making predates beer and wine making, having origins dating back 8,000 years.  Mead was considered a sacred drink in many earlier cultures.  The drink of celebration since the Renaissance.

On one Saturday each month we offer a free wine tasting, which is usually paired with cheese or chocolate, of at least six wines from our "cellar". We do a few whites and reds with a "surprise" wine, could even be champagne, thrown in for fun.  Our tastings our low key and meant for all levels from beginners on up to come and enjoy.

Katys next tasting is:
Saturday September 25th from 1 to 4pm
in conjunction with Cambridge Fall Fest weekend - we will feature medium bodies reds, a couple full-bodies whites and ports.

 daily wine tasting from 10 - 5pm
featuring Wisconsin wines

All tastings are free of charge though you must be 21.

Wine Tip of the month:

Myth - White wine has lower calories than red wine.
Fact - Calories in wine come from the alcohol.  Color has nothing to do with it.

Some beat the heat wines:
70º Temperature outside reach for a Rich Chardonnay
80º A salad friendly crisp Pinot Grigio
90º Perfect on such a  hot day - a cold zesty and citrusy white Sauvignon Blanc
Over 100º - A nice cold beer.
